The Tender Call Mobile Application is a platform designed to connect users with service providers for a variety of essential services and business needs. Launched in 2021, it aims to streamline vendor-customer interactions, helping users access numerous services in one centralized app. The app's primary goal is to make procurement more accessible, efficient, and transparent, fostering stronger, trusted connections between vendors and clients across different sectors.
Available on both iOS and Android, Tender Call offers features like multi-language support and data privacy measures. It’s particularly beneficial for individuals and businesses looking to simplify procurement processes, as it provides access to over 60 service categories and 1,000 vendors across many locations. Users can find detailed vendor profiles, communicate easily, and access a wide range of work and business opportunities through the app
(MY APPROACAH)
For Tender Call International, I focused on a user-centered design approach, starting with research to understand vendor and customer needs. Personas and empathy maps shaped a straightforward information architecture, allowing users to easily navigate through structured “Service Categories” and “Featured Vendors.” I created and refined prototypes, aligning the visual design with Tender Call’s brand for a professional, accessible look. Usability testing led to final adjustments in layout and readability, resulting in a polished app that facilitated vendor-customer connections, ultimately driving positive engagement and platform growth
(VISION & INNOVATION)
My vision for Tender Call’s design is to create a seamless, intuitive platform that empowers users to connect and transact with ease. We aim to bridge the gap between vendors and customers by offering a transparent, efficient, and engaging interface that promotes trust and convenience. With a focus on accessibility, aesthetic coherence, and user satisfaction, the design envisions Tender Call as a trusted, go-to destination for service discovery and business networking, driving meaningful interactions and supporting growth across diverse sectors. This platform should not only meet immediate user needs but also adapt to future demands, fostering a lasting digital community
(CHALLENGES)
The main challenges in designing the Tender Call platform involved balancing the needs of vendors and customers, ensuring the interface remained intuitive while managing a large amount of information. I focused on simplifying navigation and organizing content clearly to avoid overwhelming users. Another challenge was ensuring the app’s accessibility across devices while maintaining a visually appealing and secure design. Lastly, creating a scalable architecture was essential, allowing for future growth as more services and users joined the platform. These challenges guided the iterative design process to achieve a seamless, user-friendly experience
(PROBLEMS)
The Tender Call project faced several key problems that needed to be addressed in the design process. One of the main issues was ensuring that the platform could efficiently handle the diverse needs of both vendors and customers without overwhelming either group. This required simplifying the navigation while keeping the app's functionality rich enough to support a variety of services. Additionally, ensuring a seamless user experience across different devices was challenging, especially considering the varied demographics of users. Another problem was ensuring trustworthiness in the design, particularly due to the platform’s transactional nature, which needed to reassure users of security. Lastly, the challenge of creating a scalable design that could grow as the number of services and users increased was critical to the app's long-term success. These problems guided the design iterations and helped refine the final product to meet both user needs and business goals
(USER-CENTRIC DESIGN)
For the Tender Call project, I employed a user-centric design approach, which involved putting the needs, preferences, and behaviors of both vendors and customers at the forefront. This started with comprehensive user research, including surveys and interviews, to identify key pain points and define user personas. These insights informed the overall user journey, helping to streamline navigation and prioritize features that served both groups effectively. The design focused on creating a seamless experience, ensuring that users could easily navigate the app, find services, and connect with vendors with minimal friction. By continuously gathering feedback through usability testing and iterating on the design, I was able to refine the platform, making it not only functional but intuitive, accessible, and engaging for all users. This user-centric approach ultimately ensured that the final product met the diverse needs of the platform's user base while supporting business goals
(USER NEEDS)
The design of Tender Call was driven by a deep understanding of user needs. Vendors required a platform that gave them visibility, easy access to potential clients, and the ability to manage their services and interactions efficiently. Customers, on the other hand, needed a simple, trustworthy way to discover services and connect with vendors quickly. Through user research, I identified that both groups prioritized ease of navigation, clear communication, and a secure environment. These needs were addressed by structuring the app with intuitive categories, streamlined search features, and reliable communication tools. The design focused on reducing friction in user interactions, ensuring that both vendors and customers could seamlessly achieve their goals, whether it was booking a service or showcasing an offering
